Julie began her career in the Beauty and Spa industry in downtown Buffalo in 2015, with a second location in Rochester. Tupelo Honey opened in Elma in March 2019 and is proud to still be thriving despite the pandemic. Julie is a Master Technician in the art of Microblading. Her clients refer to her as a “Brow Therapist” and “Brow Goddess.” If you are looking for a wax, such as a brazilian or brow shaping, she is your girl. Expect a quick and painless as possible appointment full of fun conversation, laughter, jokes and empathy. Many clients refer to their appointments as therapy sessions, reflecting the therapeutic skills she’s carried over from her past career in Human Services. When Julie isn’t catering to her clients at the spa, you’ll find her hanging out with her Husband Adam, their dog Tupelo Honey Boy, and his fellow fur siblings Hobbes, Yoda, and Biscuit. Always on the go, Julie enjoys concerts, instructing dance classes, performing dance professionally, snowboarding and the great outdoors.

Julie was born and raised in the village of East Aurora and graduated from EAHS in 2009. She graduated from Brockport College in 2013 with a Bachelors in Science and a concentration in Recreational Therapy. After many years working as a Recreational Therapist, she shifted careers into her current field. She is licensed by NYS through Boces in West Seneca for waxing and certified by Beauty Mark Brows in Rochester for Micropigmentation.
